Marketing leadership
I take responsibility for a company's marketing: plan, budget, team and metrics, full time or fractional, and I answer for marketing's effect on sales.
When a company needs a marketing leader
- You have capable executors or an agency, and nobody decides where the budget goes and why.
- Marketing and sales work from different numbers and blame each other.
- You are entering a new market, such as Saudi Arabia, and need someone who knows the channels and the consumer there.
What I take on
- Plan and budget: the go-to-market plan, spend allocation across channels, and priorities for each quarter.
- Team: roles, platform playbooks, and review of execution quality.
- The path: defining a qualified lead with sales, follow-up standards, and reports that tie spend to enrollment and collection.
- Reporting: a regular executive report the general manager can read in minutes.

Common questions
How is this different from a marketing agency?
An agency carries out what it is asked. This role decides what is asked, answers to management for the result, and manages the agency if there is one.
Do you work part time?
Yes. The arrangement depends on the company's size and needs. I currently hold a role at CoderZ, so I agree on a clear scope before starting.
